Seneca Park Zoo Go Green! Recycle Rally On August 14th

Sunnking and the Seneca Park Zoo are teaming up yet again to e-cycle! Come responsibly recycle with us at the Seneca Park Zoo (in the parking lot), located at 2222 St. Paul Street in Rochester, NY 14621 on Sunday, August 14th from 10am – 4pm. This event will be open to the public, so come on down to the Zoo and bring us your old electronics!

The Seneca Park Zoo and Sunnking's collaboration for the Go Green! Recycle Rallies has been a success so far this year with the previous event bringing in 9,587 lbs. of e-scrap. These rallies are just one of the many recycling efforts that are made at the Zoo. The Seneca Park Zoo is proud to host the Go Green! Recycle Rallies because it gives members of the community the opportunity to properly recycle their electronics. Sunnking will be on site to handle the electronics recycling portion of the event; aside from electronics, the Zoo will also be collecting clothing, shoes and bicycles at the rally. Check out Seneca Park Zoo’s event calendar to see more information about the Recycle Rallies and other upcoming events. If you happen to miss the Go Green! Recycle Rally in August, make sure you come by at the end of September for the next one!

The Zoo does NOT accept air conditioners and household hazardous wastes such as paints, solvents and cleaners. Anyone in the area is encouraged to come (you don’t need to be a Rochester resident!). Bring electronics such as laptops & desktops, computer accessories, TV’s & monitors, audio/video equipment, mp3 players, communications equipment, servers & IT equipment, printers & scanners, copiers & fax machines, cellphones & PDA’s, medical/lab equipment, and basically anything else with a circuit board or cord! Be sure to check Sunnking’s list of acceptable materials at before coming out to the event!
