Upcoming Collection Events!

We’re proud to announce a few upcoming e-scrap collection events in the Western New York area.
- SEPTEMBER 26th – We’ll be having a Recycle Rally at the Seneca Park Zoo from 10am – 4pm
- OCTOBER 2nd – We’ll have a Collection Event for Niagara County in Lewiston (Time will be posted here following our collection event on 9/26)
- OCTOBER 29th – There will be a University of Rochester Student Collection Event from 6am – 4:30pm
What to do between now and then
There are a few things you can do to prepare for one of our collection events. Here are some suggestions:
- Set aside a place in your house, basement, or garage where you can gather your old electronics to bring to the event (computer monitors, televisions, radios, fans, toys, vacuum cleaners, etc. If it runs [or at some point in its life ran] on electricity, we want it!).
- Tell your friends, co-workers, and neighbors about the event, and even share this link by clicking “like” on our Facebook page, and by emailing and/or retweeting this link. OR – Be the organizer amongst your neighborhood or group of friends. If you have a truck or a large van, volunteer to be the “collection point” for your neighborhood, and bring the e-scrap for everyone close to you.
- Mark your calendar with the date(s)
- Join us at the closest event to you, come hang out, and have a great time!
Why?
There are many reasons why, but there are really 2 biggies that stand out to us:
- You’re helping yourself and your family by getting un-used “junk” out of your house.
- Your helping out the effort to clean up Western New York by keeping items that can be re-used and re-purposed OUT of landfills.
So come join us, bring your e-junk, and give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done.
