Our Services - eScrap Collection

A typical analog television contains an average of 6 pounds of lead. Other hazardous materials include cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PVC plastic and brominated flame retardant. Surface water quality is compromised when televisions are put out to the curb until garbage day. If landfilled, they do not break down to produce green energy.

Attention Companies, Municipalities, and Constituents:

Electronic scrap (e-scrap) is the fastest growing segment of our municipal solid waste stream.

E-scrap is a special problem for the environment because most end-of-life electronics contain toxic materials such as lead and mercury. Discarding these materials can have a negative impact on the environment. There is a direct relationship between the proper use and disposal of electronics, and the quality of our air, soil and water.

End-of-life electronics also contain valuable metals and materials, making them too valuable of a resource to discard. Virtually all components of e-scrap are recyclable. Once abandoned as trash it becomes virtually impossible to reclaim these materials.

Sunnking is Here to Help

Companies: We can create customized one day collection events at your location or ours to provide your employees an opportunity to recycle their "end-of-life" equipment in a responsible manner.

Companies that schedule these events receive a double bonus of giving a perk to employees as well as receiving great PR on recycling.

Municipalities: Give your residents a one day event and promote responsible recycling.

In most situations, collection events are by appointment only. Time slots fill quickly, so please reserve your appointment time early. Event locations are approved and posted on our web site when the appointment is scheduled.
