Sunnking Buffalo is an electronics recycler that is a partnership between Sunnking Incorporated and Integrated Recycling Services Co.
Sunnking Buffalo operates west of Batavia with their headquarters in Lancaster, NY just outside of Buffalo. Sunnking Buffalo was born in 2006 as a result of the relationship between Duane Beckett, President of Sunnking Inc. and two partners in Integrated Recycling, Brian Shine and Peter Linder. In the early to mid 1990’s Duane managed an on-site operation for Integrated Recycling and in 1998 left to pursue his own business in electronics recycling.
Sunnking Buffalo is located inside Manitoba Corporation’s, ISO 9001-2000 Certified Non-Ferrous metal processing plant. Manitoba is one of the principles of Sunnking Buffalo and has been an active participant in the recycling industry for more than 93 years. Sunnking Buffalo works as an aggregator in the Buffalo market and extends their services to PA and Ohio. Equipment is brought into our facility, sorted, stored and ultimately shipped to Sunnking's Brockport facility for final processing or resale. Sunnking Buffalo also has some peripheral services such as data destruction that includes shredding or shearing tapes or hard drives for certified destruction and de-manufacturing for end of life equipment.
In 2009 Sunnking Buffalo absorbed the clients & management of Electronic Recycling Technologies, a competitor in the Buffalo market which had been in business for nine years. This has added dramatically to both the customer base and service capabilities of Sunnking Buffalo, bringing hundreds of clients in New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
Sunnking Buffalo adds value to the Sunnking brand by expanding its footprint in the Northeast, aggregating material for reuse and recycling and providing over 100 years of combined management experience.
