Sunnking Hosts EcycleBFLO To Benefit Educational Technology Foundation Of WNY
Buffalo, NY (June 16, 2011) – Sunnking Electronics will be hosting EcycleBFLO in partnership with other local Buffalo businesses to help benefit the Educational Technology Foundation of WNY on Tuesday, June 28th from 8am – 3pm. The event will take place at Lafayette Square in downtown Buffalo and any residents in the area are encouraged to attend this event to responsibly recycle their unwanted electronics for FREE!
EcycleBFLO is a collaborative event sponsored by Sunnking, Shatter I.T., Channel 7 News, Rich’s, Get Noticed Promotions, Buffalo Business First, and Ozone Design with Sunnking coordinating the logistics of the electronics collection and recycling. A portion of the proceeds from EcycleBFLO will benefit the Educational Technology Foundation of WNY to help upgrade the technology of schools and community centers in the Western New York area. In addition to the collection event, there will be contests, raffles, prizes, music, and more. There will also be a Shatter Zone, which will be an area of the event where participants can take a sledge hammer to old electronics, such as printers and copiers, to benefit Ed Tech.
“This is our 3rd straight year participating and co-sponsoring this event,” says Adam Shine, Sales Manager at Sunnking. “It started out in partnership with Shatter I.T. in order to benefit the Educational Technology Foundation of WNY and we now have four additional sponsors. We’ve seen tremendous growth and interest in this event over the first two years and we’re excited to continue building on the success we’ve achieved thus far.”

Residents are encouraged to bring electronics such as laptops, desktops, computer accessories, TV’s, monitors, audio/video equipment, mp3 players, communications equipment, servers & IT equipment, printers, scanners, copiers, fax machines, cellphones, PDA’s, medical/lab equipment, and anything else with a circuit board or cord.
