Sunnking Hosts Free Electronics Recycling Day For Residents In The Town of Rush

ROCHESTER, NY (June 27, 2011) – Sunnking Electronics Recycling will host a free electronics recycling collection for residents of Rush on Saturday, July 9th from 9am - 1pm.  The event will take place at the Town of Rush Highway Department located at 804 Rush West Rush Road, Rush, NY 14543. Residents are encouraged to come out to this FREE event and bring any old electronics they wish to responsibly recycle.

Foodlink, Sunnking’s official charitable partner, will receive a monetary donation through the “We-Cycle Donation Program.” Foodlink will receive a monetary donation based on the amount of e-scrap that is collected from the Town of Rush event. By coming out to recycle, the responsible residents of Rush will not only help to save the environment, but will help to feed the hungry as well.

“This is a great opportunity to not only help keep dangerous materials out of our landfills, but to also give your basements a clean sweep” said Pamela Bucci, Rush Town Clerk. “You don’t have to be a resident of Rush to contribute so come on down to the Highway Garage and make your contribution to a clean future!”

Any residents in the area are encouraged to come and it is free to recycle at this event. Residents are encouraged to bring electronics such as laptops, desktops, computer accessories, TV’s, monitors, audio/video equipment, mp3 players, communications equipment, servers & IT equipment, printers, scanners, copiers, fax machines, cellphones, PDA’s, medical/lab equipment, and anything else with a circuit board or cord.
