CDL Class A Truck Driver

At Sunnking, we are focused on reducing the amount of e-waste that ends up in landfills and promoting the responsible reuse, repair, and recycling of unwanted electronic equipment. We have been at the forefront of the electronics recycling industry since its early stages of development more than 25 years ago and continue as pioneers of the recycling frontier. Sunnking collects electronic equipment from residential and commercial sources throughout Western NY, Greater Monroe County, Central and Upstate New York, and surrounding areas.

Summary
Your role as our CDL Class A Truck Driver as well possible box truck runs is vital in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of electronic waste and equipment. This position supports Sunnking’s mission to promote sustainable practices through reliable logistics and delivery services.

You will be joining a collaborative transportation team that includes two other CDL drivers, three box truck drivers, and our Logisitcs Manager.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A commercial truck safely across designated routes.
• Load and unload electronic equipment and materials with care.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with team members to meet delivery schedules.
• Follow all federal and state transportation regulations.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed.
• Ensure proper handling of sensitive electronic components during transit.
• Able to use a pallet jack and forklift

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to get in and out of truck several times daily.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Experience:

• CDL A truck driving: 3 years (Preferred)
