Sunnking is proud to announce that Phil Bove has been promoted to Vice President of Business Development and Marketing. After 12 years with the company, Phil now leads our efforts to grow Sunnking's partnerships, programs, and reach across New York and beyond.
Phil joined Sunnking 12 years ago, and in that time he has become one of the people who best understands where electronics recycling is headed. He is constantly researching e-waste policy, circular economy practices, and sustainable materials management, and he is usually the first on our team to know when something changes in the industry. Few people care about responsible recycling as much as he does, and it shows in the way he builds partnerships and leads his team.
That depth of knowledge matters. Electronics recycling changes quickly, from new regulations to new kinds of devices and batteries. Having a leader who follows those changes closely helps Sunnking stay ahead of them and helps our customers and partners do the same.
In his new role, Phil will lead business development and marketing as we continue to grow our ITAD, enterprise, and community recycling programs. His priorities reflect the same things that have driven his work for more than a decade:
Phil steps into this role at a strong moment for Sunnking. We have been recycling electronics for more than 25 years, we were the first R2-certified recycler in New York State, and we are certified to the R2v3 and RIOS standards, which means our processes are independently audited for data security, worker safety, and environmental responsibility. Phil's leadership will help us build on that foundation.
