At Sunnking, we believe sustainability goes beyond recycling electronics—it’s about creating lasting, positive change for people and the planet. Whether it’s through responsible e-waste recycling or extending the life of tech through refurbished sales, we’re always looking for ways to give back. Over the years, we've proudly partnered with organizations like Camp Good Days, the Ronald McDonald House Charities, and the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester to donate time, resources, and essential electronics.

Most recently, we found a new way to give back by stepping out of the office and into the community. On May 15th, members of the Sunnking team participated in the United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes’ Day of Caring—a region-wide volunteer initiative that supports dozens of local nonprofits.

Our team volunteered at House of Mercy, a Rochester-based homeless shelter dedicated to helping those in need. Split into two groups, one team organized the food pantry—checking expiration dates, arranging items, and restocking shelves to improve access. The other team tackled the laundry room, sorting and folding linens, and ensuring usable items were clean and ready for the next guest.

By the end of the day, our volunteers walked away with more than just tired feet—they left with full hearts and a renewed commitment to service.

At Sunnking, we’re proud of our team’s passion and drive to make a difference. We hope their efforts inspire others to get involved in their communities too. Because giving back doesn’t just help others—it strengthens us all.
